According to The Wall Street Journal, this move will allow brands to generate entire ad campaigns using only a product image and a specified marketing budget-completely automating the creative and media planning process.

The platform’s capabilities will include the generation of ad visuals, videos, copywriting, and hyper-targeted distribution using geolocation and user behavior data. This marks a major expansion beyond Meta’s current AI tools, which primarily focus on optimizing existing ad creatives.

This shift is part of CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s larger ambition to position Meta as an AI-first company. “It’s a redefinition of the category of advertising,” Zuckerberg said, underscoring the scale of investment. Meta’s capital expenditures for 2025 are projected between $64 billion and $74 billion, signaling a significant push toward AI infrastructure.
