New campaign targets travellers who drop off mid-search with customised video messages
Goibibo has launched an innovative new campaign using AI-driven personalised video messages, featuring brand ambassador Rishabh Pant, to re-engage users who start a travel search but don’t complete their booking. The campaign is powered by TrueFan AI, a platform that enables scalable, customised video content.
The initiative targets users who drop off mid-journey on the Goibibo app or website. These users receive an AI-generated video in which Rishabh Pant addresses them by name and refers to their specific destination or travel search, creating a personalised nudge designed to drive conversion.
Raj Rishi Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, Goibibo, said:
“We’re always exploring new ways to connect with our users through technology. This campaign allows us to build deeper, more personal relationships with each traveller. Video content consistently outperforms text when it comes to engagement, and by combining the appeal of a celebrity with the power of AI, we’re delivering moments that are both meaningful and relevant.”
The campaign reflects Goibibo’s strategy to make customer interactions more human and dynamic, especially by turning abandoned searches into personalised opportunities to reconnect.
Nimish Goel, CEO and Co-founder, TrueFan AI, added:
“This collaboration with Goibibo showcases the future of personalised communication at scale. By combining AI with Rishabh Pant’s popularity, we’re creating one-to-one brand experiences that resonate. It’s exciting to see a forward-thinking brand embrace the next wave of meaningful, individualised marketing.”
The campaign highlights a broader shift in travel marketing, where contextual and emotionally resonant content is becoming key to conversion. By using technology to deliver real-time, personalised outreach, Goibibo aims to remind users that their travel plans are just one click away – and now, with a personal nudge from a familiar face.
