ASUS and KFC Team Up for Branded Burgers and Limited-Edition Keycaps

The collaboration features gaming-themed meals with the ROG logo seared onto burger buns

KFC China has joined forces with ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) for a unique co-branded campaign titled “Fortress of Faith.” The partnership introduces two limited-edition meal sets designed to appeal to gaming enthusiasts, complete with themed packaging and collectible accessories.

One of the campaign’s standout features is the ROG logo burned directly onto the burger buns, served in specially designed boxes that blend fast food and gaming culture.

The first meal set, priced at ¥39.90 (approximately $5.60 USD), includes a burger, fried chicken, an egg tart, and a drink. The second, at ¥42.90 (around $5.99 USD), comes with the same items plus a limited-edition ROG-themed keycap set for mechanical keyboards.

This initiative is the latest in KFC’s growing portfolio of gaming-related collaborations. In 2020, KFC created headlines by partnering with Cooler Master to unveil the KFConsole-a gaming PC that featured a built-in chicken-warming chamber. The system cleverly repurposed the console’s heat output to keep food warm while maintaining optimal performance for gamers.

The KFConsole concept was a viral blend of humor and innovation, targeting the overlap between gaming culture and food consumption.

With the current KFC x ROG China collaboration, the brand continues to position itself at the intersection of lifestyle and gaming. This move reflects KFC’s broader strategy of engaging younger, tech-savvy audiences through unconventional marketing and cross-industry partnerships.

For ASUS ROG, known for pushing boundaries in gaming hardware and culture, the tie-up offers another opportunity to reinforce its brand identity with fans outside traditional tech channels.
