This Independence Day, JSW Paints, part of the $23 billion JSW Group, unveiled a moving new film that reimagines how beauty and patriotism are experienced – not just through sight, but through emotion and connection. Conceptualised by TBWA\India, the campaign is now live across digital platforms.
Set on a home terrace, the film captures a tender moment between a visually impaired father and his son. As the national flag is hoisted on television, the son paints a textured tricolour using JSW Paints Aquaglo, then gently guides his father’s hand across the canvas, enabling him to feel the flag’s essence. The film concludes with the poignant line:
“Khoobsurti, jo dil ki aankhon se bhi dekhi ja sake.”
Ashish Rai, CEO, JSW Decorative Paints, said:
“Our campaign highlights that beauty goes beyond the visual – it’s rooted in emotion, connection, and empathy. This story is a reflection of our ‘Think Beautiful’ philosophy, where every product and narrative is created to inspire thoughtfulness and creativity.”
Govind Pandey, CEO, TBWA\India, added:
“With JSW Paints, we’ve always gone deeper with ‘Think Beautiful’. Casting a real blind protagonist wasn’t just creative – it was a commitment to truth. The film transforms beauty from a concept into an emotion.”
Russell Barrett, Chief Creative Experience Officer, TBWA\India, shared:
“This isn’t just a film. It’s a statement that true beauty is felt, not just seen. The performance by our protagonist subverts clichés and redefines how we perceive art, colour, and identity.”
JSW Paints’ Independence Day campaign reminds us that beauty, patriotism, and human connection can be experienced through the heart – not just the eyes.
