Ahead of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 launch on August 29, JioStar has unveiled a new film under its Ghus Kar Maarenge campaign, this time featuring cricketer KL Rahul as the face of the Bengaluru Bulls.
Conceptualised by creative agency ZeroFifty, the Kannada-language film opens with Rahul driving through Karnataka’s rural landscape alongside friends. When a bull blocks their path, Rahul instructs the driver to reverse, noting with a smirk, “This isn’t just any bull-this is a Bengaluru Bull,” alluding to the team’s fearless playing style.
The campaign aims to spotlight the aggression and adrenaline of the upcoming PKL season. “KL Rahul was a natural choice,” said a JioStar spokesperson. “His calm confidence and strong connection with fans made him the perfect fit to bring the spirit of kabaddi to life.”
