Publicis Groupe India’s bespoke unit ‘Team Drive’, in collaboration with Škoda Auto India, has unveiled ‘Recess’, the latest film in the ongoing ‘Fans Not Owners’ campaign. The creative mandate continues to be led by BBH India, under the Groupe’s ‘Power of One’ approach tailored specifically for Škoda.

Following the well-received ‘Doda’ film, ‘Recess’ brings a fresh perspective by spotlighting the emotional connection young fans have with Škoda cars-even if they aren’t the drivers yet.

Set on a lively school playground, the film captures a group of children excitedly comparing features of their families’ Škoda vehicles. The banter mimics the tone of adult auto enthusiasts, with each child trying to outshine the other. Just as the scene builds into a feature-focused face-off, a confident young girl flips the narrative by joking that her Škoda can fly to Jupiter, drawing a rocket-like comparison. She then hops into her Škoda Kushaq, leaving the boys stunned and speechless.

The film concludes with a montage that celebrates not just the product features, but the sense of joy, pride, and imagination that Škoda evokes-even in its youngest fans.
