Comedian-rapper duo bring humour and music to a relatable inflight pain point
For anyone who has ever dealt with a crying baby, a chatty neighbour, or someone loudly watching videos on a flight, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is more than a feature – it’s a lifeline.
boAt taps into this universal flier frustration with its latest campaign, positioning ANC as an essential travel companion. The ad features stand-up comic Samay Raina and rapper KR$NA – both brand endorsers for boAt (Raina since December 2024, KR$NA since September 2025). In the spot, an irritated passenger asks the duo to keep quiet, only to realise his earphones don’t have ANC. The scene flips into a witty reminder of why ANC is a must-have.

The campaign cleverly targets travellers who understand the true value of silence while in the air. After all, the inflight environment can easily go from mildly noisy to outright chaotic – with crying infants, loud families, or passengers broadcasting phone conversations to the entire cabin.
For the uninitiated, ANC technology uses built-in microphones to detect surrounding noise and produces opposite sound waves to cancel it out, giving listeners uninterrupted audio.
boAt has curated a dedicated ANC collection on its website, with prices ranging from ₹1,499 to ₹3,200 (discounted from the MRPs). The brand’s Instagram post promoting the campaign cheekily reads:
“Some average earphones were harmed in the making of this film!”
With humour, music, and a relatable insight, boAt makes a compelling pitch for ANC – and for peace of mind, even at 30,000 feet.
