PUMA India has rolled out the local edition of its global campaign, GO WILD, featuring two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, actor Ibrahim Ali Khan, and runners from varied backgrounds. The campaign spotlights running as both a performance sport and a lifestyle activity, emphasizing personal growth, joy, and the much-loved “Runner’s High.”
The 60-second film weaves together stories of professional athletes and everyday runners, showing how running integrates into daily life while promoting self-expression. Set to a remake of Afroman’s Because I Got High, the campaign highlights perseverance, fitness, and balance across sporting and professional spheres.
Commenting on the campaign, Karthik Balagopalan, Managing Director, PUMA India, said, “Running is one of the fastest-growing sports in India. The GO WILD campaign is our unique attempt to acquaint people with the pure joy of chasing the Runner’s High, while reinforcing our performance-first vision. We are just scratching the surface in making everyday running a defining part of India’s culture and will continue to lead in shaping the country’s sporting ecosystem.”
GO WILD complements PUMA’s ongoing initiatives in India, including athlete collaborations, product innovations like the NITRO™ range, race sponsorships, and community-led runs. By positioning running as both accessible and rewarding, the campaign aims to inspire individuals across ages and professions to embrace the sport, making it a meaningful part of daily life.
The campaign underscores PUMA’s commitment to fostering a performance-driven, active lifestyle culture while celebrating the joy and freedom that running brings to people from all walks of life.
