Flipkart has taken its Big Billion Days (BBD) campaign to new heights – quite literally. In a first-of-its-kind out-of-home (OOH) activation in India, the e-commerce giant transformed farmlands near Bengaluru and Kanpur airports into massive crop-circle-style formations to announce the start of its flagship sale on September 23, 2025.
Spanning several acres, these striking installations are visible to thousands of passengers flying in and out of the two cities daily, creating a bold and unmissable reminder of the country’s biggest festive sale.
The campaign aligns with Flipkart’s festive season promise that “Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai” (anything can happen) – positioning BBD as more than just a sale but a truly magical, once-a-year phenomenon.
Pratik Shetty, Vice President – Marketing & Growth at Flipkart, said, “Big Billion Days has always been about creating magical, almost unbelievable moments for India. Crop circles are symbols of intrigue and wonder, and turning them into giant media canvases felt like the perfect way to communicate that during BBD, anything is possible. This isn’t just a sale announcement – it’s about giving people a taste of the magic before the sale even begins.”
With this high-impact, aerially visible innovation, Flipkart has set the tone for a record-breaking festive season, merging creativity and scale to generate excitement across the country.
