Set against the warmth of festive memories, the film beautifully captures moments of laughter, shared rituals, and emotional connection – reminding viewers that Diwali’s truest light shines from within. The campaign also highlights the brand’s festive range, including the Infallible Laque Resistance lipstick collection and exclusive Diwali gift boxes.
Produced by an all-women crew, the film is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, produced by Ramya Rao, with production design by Meenal Agarwal. Music composer Sneha Khanwalkar and lyricist Prasoon Joshi come together to create the soulful title track, sung by Harjot Kaur – a musical celebration of emotion, inner strength, and festive joy.
Dario Zizzi, general manager, L’Oréal Paris India, said, “Mujh Mein Hai Diwali is more than a festive campaign – it’s a tribute to the relationships and confidence that light up women’s lives. As our first Diwali film in India, it captures the beauty of authenticity and emotional connection that defines this season.”
Prasoon Joshi, chief creative officer, McCann Worldgroup, added, “Diwali is not just about external brilliance; it’s about the inner light we all carry. Through this story, we wanted to celebrate that quiet, personal radiance – especially the one that shines in every woman.”
Sneha Khanwalkar shared, “This project let me rediscover Diwali as something deeply personal. Translating that feeling into music, paired with Prasoon’s evocative lyrics, was truly special.”
Launching across digital and social platforms, the Mujh Mein Hai Diwali campaign blends music, emotion, and storytelling to honor women’s inner glow – turning festive nostalgia into a celebration of confidence and connection.
