Dog food brand PEDIGREE, part of Mars Petcare, has teamed up with cricketers KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) for its latest campaign promoting complete and balanced nutrition for dogs.
The influencer films use engaging comparisons to illustrate PEDIGREE’s nutritional benefits: a daily serving of adult dry dog food provides protein equivalent to eight chicken livers, calcium equal to nine cups of milk, and vitamin E comparable to 64 carrots. The campaign emphasizes the importance of science-backed nutrition tailored to dogs’ specific needs.
Alongside the campaign, PEDIGREE in India has launched a new and improved formula featuring a multi-grain mix and gut-friendly ingredients. The refreshed packaging highlights daily nutritional requirements, reinforcing the brand’s belief that feeding right is the purest expression of love.
This initiative builds on Mars Petcare’s broader Love Them Like Family, Feed Them Like Dogs campaign, which encourages Indian pet parents to shift from emotional feeding to informed feeding. The films position PEDIGREE as a trusted partner in raising healthier, happier pets.
Insights from a nationwide veterinary survey informed the campaign: 90% of vets recommend packaged food for balanced nutrition, 86% warn that certain human foods can cause imbalances or toxicity, and over 70% observed better weight control, 66% noted improved energy, and 61% reported fewer digestive issues when pets switched to science-backed food.
