Hyundai Motor India has appointed Tarun Garg as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective January 1, 2026, succeeding Unsoo Kim, who will return to South Korea for a strategic role at Hyundai Motor Company. With over two decades in the auto industry and leadership experience at Maruti Suzuki, Garg has been instrumental in strengthening Hyundai’s market presence, advancing product innovation, and expanding into new segments. Currently a Whole-time Director, he will serve as MD & CEO-designate until the transition takes effect.
