India’s largest home chef community, Slurrp, is back with The Great Indian Cookout (GIC) Season 4, taking the country’s culinary passion to new heights. Presented by USHA and co-presented by Aashirvaad, with Foodies Only as associate partner and OTTplay as streaming partner, this year’s edition will travel across Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Delhi from 1st to 22nd November 2025.
With over 8 lakh home chefs as part of the Slurrp community, GIC continues to be a one-of-a-kind platform that celebrates India’s homegrown cooking talent. Season 4’s theme, ‘Gully to Gourmet’, pays tribute to India’s rich street food heritage-encouraging participants to transform beloved local dishes into gourmet creations.
Three shortlisted chefs from each city will battle it out live, with winners earning a feature in a special OTTPlay docu-series alongside India’s top culinary names. “At Slurrp, we believe that great food begins in the home. The Great Indian Cookout celebrates the creativity and heart behind every Indian kitchen,” said Avinash Mudaliar, CEO & Co-founder, HT Labs.
The season’s star-studded lineup includes Chef Neha Deepak Shah as Judge-in-Chief, joined by celebrated chefs such as Amrita Raichand, Doma Wang, Shri Bala, and Nishant Choubey across the cities.
With nearly 9,000 entries, Slurrp’s GIC Season 4 continues its mission to empower home chefs, turning everyday cooking into a celebration of innovation, culture, and community.
