Mars Wrigley India has unveiled a refreshed identity for its iconic chocolate brand Galaxy, introducing a new recipe, packaging design, and positioning that celebrates self-indulgence and individuality. The relaunch features actor Mrunal Thakur as the brand’s new ambassador, embodying the essence of confidence and self-expression that defines the modern Galaxy woman.

Conceptualised by DDB Tribal, the campaign – titled ‘Take Pleasure’ – invites consumers to rediscover everyday joy through short films that capture women celebrating simple, personal moments. From dancing freely to embracing moments of calm, the films reflect Galaxy’s core message of finding pleasure in the little things.

“Today’s Indian woman is rewriting the rules-balancing ambition, relationships, and self-expression on her own terms,” said Nikhil Rao, Chief Marketing Officer, Mars Wrigley India. “New Galaxy, with its smooth, creamy texture and rich taste, serves as a gentle reminder that self-care isn’t selfish – it’s essential.”

Anant Agarwal, Strategic Demand Manager, Mars Wrigley India, added, “Every element of the relaunch – from recipe to design – has been crafted for those who take pleasure not only in chocolate but in who they are, living every moment unapologetically.”

Speaking on the creative approach, Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer, DDB Mudra Group, noted, “Many women feel guilty about taking time for themselves. With Galaxy, we wanted to change that – to give them permission to be at the centre of their own galaxy.”
