OpenAI has promoted Pragya Misra to Head of Strategy & Global Affairs, India, where she will lead the company’s long-term India strategy across product, policy, partnerships, and ecosystem growth. Having joined OpenAI in April 2024, Misra previously led its global affairs function for India. With extensive experience at Truecaller, WhatsApp, the Royal Danish Embassy, and EY, she will focus on strengthening OpenAI’s role in India’s AI ecosystem and driving inclusive innovation.
