Samay Raina and Kunal Kamra turn flight fiasco into comic chaos for Airlearn

Stand-up comedian Samay Raina and fellow comic Kunal Kamra have teamed up to deliver a hilarious new ad for Airlearn, Unacademy’s language-learning app – transforming a routine flight scene into a masterclass in comedy and multilingual mayhem.

Set aboard an airplane, the film opens with passengers insisting that announcements be made in their own regional languages. As confusion brews, Raina jumps in, confidently translating in Marathi and Kannada – before being challenged by a Tamil-speaking passenger. With perfect comic timing, he replies that he’ll “learn Tamil in two to three days” using Airlearn.

Just when the situation seems ready to nosedive, Raina calls in reinforcements – Kunal Kamra, making a dramatic entrance in a traditional white dhoti with gold border and his signature black shades. The cabin bursts into laughter as the duo riff off each other, blending pop culture references, linguistic jokes, and meta humour. When asked where he learned Tamil, Kamra pauses – only for Raina to proudly credit Airlearn once again, tying the chaos back to the product.

Written by Raina himself, the 1-minute spot cleverly balances satire, self-awareness, and brand storytelling, using comedy to highlight how easy language learning can be with Airlearn.

Raina’s growing presence in advertising continues to blur the line between content and comedy – having recently collaborated with brands like boAt, Bold Care, Knorr, Urban Jungle Bags, and Deconstruct Skincare. With Airlearn, he once again proves that a well-timed joke can make even brand messaging soar.
