Tinder India has launched School of Swipe, a mobile-first microsite designed to guide young adults through the realities of modern dating. The platform offers practical and emotional resources-covering profile building, interpreting social cues, understanding consent, ensuring online-to-offline comfort and nurturing emotional wellbeing.
The initiative is informed by youth insights from Yuvaa’s research and expert guidance from Tinder India’s relationship expert, Dr. Chandni Tugnait. It reflects the growing dependence on digital tools among young daters seeking clarity on communication, safety, boundaries and pacing.
Aditi Shorewal, communications lead for Tinder India and Korea, said: “At Tinder, we’re always reimagining what safe, social dating looks like for each new generation. With resources like School of Swipe and features like Double Date, we want to make connecting easy, fun and low-pressure-helping people define what they want without judgment.
Exploration is central to Tinder; every swipe presents a chance to meet someone new or discover more about yourself. Through School of Swipe, we aim to help young daters approach each interaction with confidence, mindfulness and self-assurance.”
The microsite addresses topics such as mindful communication, emotional boundaries and identifying healthy versus unhealthy behaviours. It includes interactive tools like a Red Flag–Green Flag quiz, a dating dictionary and multilingual modules on safety. The content reflects shifting priorities among young daters who increasingly value emotional awareness and wellbeing.
Insights from Yuvaa and Tinder’s Modern Dating Report highlight that pacing, communication and emotional management are common challenges. Many young people rely on humour, movement, mindfulness practices or support systems to navigate dating stress.
Yuvaa’s offline sessions reinforced the need for open conversations around boundaries, intimacy and self-care, with preferences ranging from prioritising stability to embracing solo rituals and peer support.
Dr. Chandni Tugnait added, “Dating involves both the head and the heart. When emotions and boundaries align, relationships feel natural and nourishing. Boundaries aren’t rejection-they’re self-respect.”
