Warner Music India has entered into a significant partnership with Ultra Music, one of India’s leading music labels, forming an exclusive global distribution agreement. Under this collaboration, Warner Music India will distribute Ultra Music’s extensive library-comprising more than 14,000 tracks-across international markets.
Ultra Music’s catalogue spans a wide range of genres including Bollywood film soundtracks, regional hits, folk compositions, and devotional music. The deal not only covers the distribution of the existing catalogue but also extends to all upcoming releases from Ultra Music during the tenure of the agreement.
This strategic alliance leverages Warner Music’s strong worldwide distribution capabilities to enhance the visibility and accessibility of Indian music across global digital platforms. By combining Warner’s international reach with Ultra’s deep and diverse repertoire, the partnership aims to significantly boost the presence of Indian artists and music traditions worldwide.
Sushilkumar Agrawal, CEO of Ultra Music (Ultra Group), expressed that the partnership marks a major milestone in expanding the label’s reach. He highlighted that uniting Ultra’s robust catalogue with Warner’s industry network will help deliver high-quality Indian music to audiences across multiple platforms.
