Zepto wraps up a landmark year, revealing how India shopped faster, smarter, and more curiously in 2025. With a focus on speed, convenience, and consumer trends, the platform showcased its growing role in everyday life across cities.
Over the year, the Zepto app was opened a staggering 3,46,41,64,197 times, while delivery partners collectively covered 24,52,95,068 kilometers-equivalent to a non-stop supersonic flight around the Earth for nearly 11 years. The fastest delivery? Just 48 seconds. Through quicker access and competitive pricing, Indian shoppers saved an estimated INR 17,000 crore, reflecting Zepto’s promise of speed with savings.
Some standout moments included Yasin from Mumbai placing an INR 1,89,900 order, Rajkumar L completing 5,894 deliveries averaging 16 orders a day, and Priyanshu from Gurugram tipping INR 54,000.
City-level trends revealed unique consumer quirks. Bengaluru ordered Nandini Milk, tomatoes, and coffee paired with melatonin gummies. Mumbai’s favourites were Amul Milk, onions, and energy drinks, with snacks and condoms often paired together. Delhi NCR showed a split between guavas in the north and avocados in the south, while Hyderabad loved Heritage Milk, Bingo!, and Osmania biscuits, with diet-related orders humorously delayed to 2026.
Zepto’s data paints a vivid picture of India’s evolving shopping habits in 2025-fast, smart, and full of surprises. Users can explore personal and city-specific trends on the Zepto app. With an eye on the year ahead, Zepto promises to keep building smarter, faster, and more reliable shopping experiences for all.
