Nike has announced Indian cricket star Shubman Gill as the global ambassador for its latest innovation, Nike Mind 001 mule and Mind 002 sneaker, marking the brand’s first entry into neuroscience-driven footwear. Designed to enhance athletes’ mental readiness alongside physical performance, the Nike Mind range leverages mind-body science by activating sensory receptors in the feet to stimulate key brain areas. This underfoot activation helps athletes stay grounded, focused, and fully present before, during, and after competition.
Shubman Gill embodies the campaign’s ethos, reflecting calmness, discipline, and sharp focus. “As athletes, we know that performance is shaped as much by the mind as by physical training,” Gill said. “Nike’s innovation supports not only the body but also the mental aspect of sport, which is critical to performing at your best.”
