Randeep Hooda Joins STAGE as Brand Ambassador, Driving Regional OTT Expansion in 2026

STAGE, the regional OTT platform known for its hyperlocal content, has announced actor Randeep Hooda as its new brand ambassador, ahead of its expansion into additional markets and regional languages in 2026. The partnership is aimed at broadening STAGE’s audience base while highlighting the cultural pride embedded in languages such as Haryanvi, Rajasthani, and Bhojpuri.

Vinay Singhal, co-founder and CEO of STAGE, said, “We are building a movement where speaking Haryanvi, Rajasthani, or Bhojpuri is a mark of pride and aspiration. Randeep represents the gold standard of excellence in one’s own language. With him onboard, 2026 will be the year regional cinema becomes the mainstream choice for Bharat.”

Hooda, known for his strong connection to his roots, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “STAGE is elevating regional entertainment with world-class production values. It celebrates our languages and culture on a platform that resonates globally. This is the future I want to be part of,” he said.

Following a year of growth in 2025 marked by higher user engagement and retention, STAGE plans to release new content across Bhojpuri, Haryanvi, and Rajasthani languages in 2026. As part of the partnership, Hooda will feature in campaigns across digital, television, and out-of-home media, including promotions for the platform’s smart TV app.

Hooda joins Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra as STAGE’s ambassadors, a move that co-founder Harsh Mani Tripathi described as “incredibly humbling” and a testament to the platform’s vision of being both world-class and deeply rooted in Indian culture.

This collaboration marks a significant push for regional OTT content, aiming to make local languages and stories mainstream while leveraging star power to engage audiences nationwide.
