Tata Play Binge has expanded its content universe with the launch of Shots, a dedicated micro-drama aggregator designed for mobile-first, on-the-go viewing. Available at no additional cost to all active Tata Play Binge subscribers, Shots introduces a new category of short-form, vertical storytelling aimed at capturing viewers during life’s in-between moments.

Built specifically for mobile consumption, Shots features 1–2-minute vertical episodes across action, drama and thriller genres. At launch, the platform offers more than 160 micro-dramas, powered by content partners Bullet and STAGE, together contributing over 110 hours of short-format content. Tata Play Binge plans to onboard additional partners in the coming months, further expanding the catalogue.

The user experience is designed for seamless discovery and uninterrupted viewing. With a scroll-friendly interface, auto-next playback and intuitive navigation, Shots allows users to consume snackable stories effortlessly. The category is accessible directly within the Tata Play Binge app via dedicated homepage rails as well as a standalone Shots section, eliminating the need for additional apps or subscriptions.

Commenting on the launch, Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer at Tata Play, said the rapid rise of short-form, vertical storytelling reflects a clear shift in how audiences consume content on mobile devices. She noted that Shots is a natural extension of Tata Play Binge’s strategy, bringing together micro-dramas from multiple creators into a single, unified destination while enabling partners to reach wider audiences.

The introduction of Shots further strengthens Tata Play Binge’s position as one of India’s most comprehensive OTT aggregation platforms. By complementing its long-form entertainment library with a mobile-first short-form layer, the platform aims to drive higher daily engagement, increased viewing frequency and deeper user retention within a single app ecosystem.
