Himalaya BabyCare has introduced redesigned packaging across its Gentle Baby Care Range, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability. The new packaging is projected to eliminate 500 tons of plastic over the next five years, reducing consumption by around 100 tons annually, while combining usability, thoughtful design, and eco-conscious innovation.
This initiative reflects a growing awareness among parents about the environmental impact of everyday choices. The brand’s digital film, set at a parents’ meet, highlights concerns about plastic waste and its long-term effects, showing relatable conversations that underline the importance of mindful actions to create a cleaner, safer world for children.
N. V. Chakravarthi, Director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, stated, “Every decision we make is guided by our belief that babies deserve the best of Nature’s nourishment. Caring for Nature ensures a healthier world for our children. Our packaging transformation reflects this commitment by reducing plastic waste while maintaining gentle care that’s good for both babies and the planet.”
The refreshed packs feature a modern, clean visual language with enhanced labeling for readability, and ergonomic design for better grip and stability, ensuring hassle-free daily use without compromising safety or quality.
The digital film has been produced in Hindi and adapted into ten regional languages, including Punjabi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Gujarati, and Marathi, extending its reach and relevance across India.
Through this effort, Himalaya BabyCare emphasizes that baby care extends beyond skincare-it is about shaping a sustainable world for the next generation, where every mindful choice contributes to a kinder, cleaner future.
