Parle Agro has expanded its flagship dairy beverage brand Smoodh with the launch of Smoodh Kesar Badam, adding a classic Indian flavor to its growing flavored milk portfolio. The new variant strengthens the brand’s focus on indulgent yet accessible dairy offerings, tapping into consumers’ familiarity with traditional tastes.
Kesar Badam, a flavor deeply rooted in Indian households, is widely associated with richness and celebration. Smoodh Kesar Badam blends the goodness of almonds with the warmth of saffron and smooth, creamy milk to deliver a premium taste experience in Smoodh’s signature contemporary format. Designed for multiple consumption occasions-ranging from festive moments and family gatherings to everyday refreshment-the product is priced at INR 10 for 80 ml and INR 20 for 150 ml, making it suitable for regular consumption.
Commenting on the launch, Nadia Chauhan, Joint Managing Director and CMO, Parle Agro, said that Smoodh has redefined the dairy beverage category by making indulgent flavoured milk more accessible. She noted that Kesar Badam’s strong cultural relevance and cross-generational appeal made it a natural addition, allowing the brand to offer a familiar taste in a modern, on-the-go format while reinforcing category leadership.
Smoodh Kesar Badam will be available across urban and rural markets through general trade, modern trade, digital channels, and quick commerce platforms. The launch is supported by an integrated marketing campaign spanning out-of-home, digital, social media, influencer collaborations, and in-store visibility to drive awareness and trial.
With this addition, Smoodh continues to build its flavoured milk portfolio, which already includes Chocolate, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Toffee Caramel, while aligning with the growing demand for traditional Indian flavours in contemporary formats.
