Creative Abby 2026 Expands Scope with New Categories and Revised Structure

The Advertising Club has announced significant updates to the Creative Abby 2026 awards, introducing new categories and refining existing ones as part of its ongoing evolution. The revised entry form, reflecting all changes, is now available on the Club’s website. The awards continue their partnership with The One Club and The One Show.

Entries must have been released between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026, with the submission deadline set for April 06, 2026. Winners will be revealed at Goafest 2026.

Among the key additions are two new categories: Social Content and Influencer Marketing, recognising digital creation and community-led storytelling; and Creative Commerce, Use of Data and B2B, spotlighting innovation across commerce, payments, and data-driven brand experiences. These categories will reward craft and impact over pure numerical effectiveness.

The awards have also rationalised several digital sub-categories and discontinued the standalone Mobile category, acknowledging the integration of mobile into broader digital practices. In addition, Green Abby, Red Abby and DEI have been merged under a unified Sustainability and Inclusion category.

A new Client of the Year honour has been introduced to recognise brands that drive creative excellence. Meanwhile, the computation for Creative Agency of the Year now considers performance across 18 creative categories, broadening the scope beyond traditional segments.

With its 57th edition, Creative Abby aims to further align Indian advertising with global creative standards.
