Amazon Ads has introduced two AI-driven tools-Creative Agent and Ads Agent-in India, aimed at streamlining ad creation and campaign management for businesses of all sizes. The launch reflects Amazon’s focus on democratising advanced advertising capabilities through automation and data-driven insights.
Powered by Amazon’s first-party data and AI infrastructure, the tools enable advertisers to create, launch, and optimise campaigns more efficiently. Creative Agent, integrated within Creative Studio, functions as a virtual creative partner, using a conversational interface to generate ad concepts, storyboards, and finished video or display creatives. By leveraging shopping signals and brand data, it helps produce tailored campaigns aligned with specific audience segments.
Ads Agent, currently available within Amazon Marketing Cloud, focuses on campaign planning and optimisation. It automates processes such as audience segmentation, campaign pacing, and analytics through natural language inputs, allowing advertisers to execute strategies and derive insights with greater speed and precision.
According to Girish Prabhu, the tools are designed to help advertisers create smarter campaigns, launch faster, and drive stronger outcomes across the campaign lifecycle.
Early adopters are already seeing results. Ganesh Sonawane noted that using Creative Agent improved campaign efficiency and boosted click-through rates, while reducing the need for additional creative spend.
With these innovations, Amazon Ads aims to make sophisticated advertising tools more accessible, enabling brands to scale faster and compete more effectively in a data-driven digital ecosystem.
