Times Network has announced a strategic restructuring of its news revenue team for FY27, aimed at accelerating growth, improving agility, and strengthening its position in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
The move, led by CEO Ashish Sehgal, reflects the need for faster decision-making, stronger client focus, and better alignment across teams as consumption patterns shift and pressure on measurable brand outcomes increases. The new structure is designed to unlock growth opportunities while enhancing collaboration and accountability across business units.
Under the revised leadership framework, three senior leaders will anchor the network’s revenue strategy. Gaurav Dhawan, Chief Revenue Officer, will continue to lead ad sales while also heading a newly created vertical, Network Alliance. This unit will focus on scaling partnerships, exploring new revenue streams, and building alliances across agencies, brands, and media platforms.
Gaurav Dewani will drive innovation-led revenue initiatives, overseeing Brand Solutions, IP expansion, and PSU business. His mandate includes developing new formats and opportunities that go beyond traditional advertising models.
Meanwhile, Rajesh Madampath will continue to lead the Government Business across state and central levels, with a focus on scaling this segment and driving consistent growth.
Supporting these verticals, the Times Influence team will play a key role in ideation, identifying new opportunities, and execution.
Overall, the restructuring signals Times Network’s shift towards a more agile, opportunity-driven model—one that prioritizes innovation, partnerships, and diversified revenue streams to stay competitive in today’s dynamic media ecosystem.
