VIDA, the electric mobility brand powered by Hero MotoCorp, has partnered with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to launch the ‘6 for 6’ campaign-an initiative that connects on-field cricketing moments with real-world EV infrastructure growth.
As part of the campaign, every six hit by KKR during the 2026 T20 season will lead to the installation of a 6kW fast charger. The idea is simple yet powerful-convert fan excitement into tangible progress, while accelerating EV adoption across India.
This initiative builds on VIDA’s rapidly expanding ecosystem, which already includes over 5,300 fast-charging points across 430 cities. By tying infrastructure growth to live match moments, the brand brings visibility, urgency, and cultural relevance to the EV conversation.
Beyond the core mechanic, VIDA is also rolling out co-branded fast chargers in KKR’s iconic colours at key locations, including a flagship installation unveiled by players. This strengthens the connection between sport, sustainability, and innovation-making the campaign both symbolic and functional.
The infrastructure itself is designed for convenience and accessibility. VIDA’s chargers can power electric scooters from 0 to 80% in about an hour, while its removable battery technology allows charging through standard household plug points-expanding usability beyond public stations.
