FanCode Strengthens Its Grip as India’s Home of Golf with Major Championship Rights

FanCode has reinforced its position as the go-to destination for golf enthusiasts in India by securing exclusive broadcast rights for three of the sport’s most prestigious Major championships-The Masters, the PGA Championship, and the U.S. Open. This marks the second consecutive year that the platform will serve as the “Home of Golf in India,” bringing live action from global stages directly to Indian audiences.

The 2026 Major season kicks off with The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club from April 9–12, followed by the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania from May 14–17, and concludes with the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in New York from June 18–21. These tournaments represent the pinnacle of professional golf, featuring the world’s top players and drawing significant global viewership.

This year’s lineup promises intense competition, with defending Masters champion Rory McIlroy returning after completing a historic Career Grand Slam. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, fresh off major victories in 2025, will be aiming to further cement his dominance. Other leading contenders include Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Ludvig Åberg.

Beyond marquee events, FanCode continues to expand its golf portfolio with year-round coverage of the PGA Tour and LET Tour. According to co-founder Prasana Krishnan, the platform remains committed to nurturing golf’s growing fanbase in India by offering consistent, high-quality access to the sport’s biggest moments.

With this move, FanCode not only strengthens its sports streaming credentials but also deepens its connection with a niche yet passionate audience segment.
