Creative agency One Hand Clap has acquired seeding and distribution firm Agenseed, marking its strategic entry into the distribution space and expanding its role across the marketing value chain. The move reflects a growing industry shift where agencies are integrating content amplification and creator-led distribution alongside creative and production services.
With this acquisition, Agenseed will operate as the distribution arm of One Hand Clap, enabling the agency to control not just how ideas are created, but also how they are scaled and delivered to audiences. The agency expects this new vertical to contribute up to 15% of its overall revenue within the next 12–18 months, signalling a clear shift beyond its traditional service offerings.
Founded by Monish Hardasani and Akram Malik, Agenseed brings expertise in narrative-driven distribution and seeding strategies. Their integration is expected to strengthen campaign reach and cultural relevance by embedding distribution thinking earlier in the creative process.
Aakash Shah, founder of One Hand Clap, emphasised that modern advertising is no longer just about crafting strong ideas but also about placing them effectively. He noted that owning both storytelling and distribution allows the agency to drive greater impact for brands while unlocking new revenue streams.
Founded in 2019 by Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan, One Hand Clap has worked with brands such as Swiggy, Google, and Netflix India, and has received backing from Nikhil Kamath.
The acquisition underscores a broader evolution in the agency ecosystem, where integrated capabilities are becoming essential to deliver measurable and scalable brand impact.
