Peter England has unveiled a refreshed retail identity and launched its largest store in Bihar, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s evolution. Located in Kankarbagh, Patna, the new 3,000 sq. ft. outlet spread across two floors is the first store to showcase the brand’s updated retail format, designed to blend its rich heritage with a contemporary shopping experience.
The redesigned store introduces a modern visual language featuring a refreshed façade, digital display screens, and carefully curated design elements inspired by Peter England’s legacy. Signature brand symbols, including the iconic Prince of Wales check pattern and the Griffin insignia, have been thoughtfully incorporated into the store’s architecture and interiors, creating a space that reflects both tradition and modernity.
Speaking about the launch, Anand Aiyer, Chief Business Officer at Peter England, said the new retail identity represents a cleaner and more contemporary expression of the brand while remaining rooted in the craftsmanship, trust, and heritage that have defined Peter England since its origins in Londonderry. He added that the company plans to roll out the new retail concept across 100 stores by the end of FY27.
Priyank Karanam, Creative Director and Vice President – Design, described the new format as a reimagining of Peter England’s heritage for today’s consumers. He noted that the design elements are not merely decorative but are meaningful references that bring the brand’s story to life in a subtle and premium manner.
The flagship store houses Peter England’s complete portfolio, including formalwear, denim, wedding wear, and lifestyle collections. The Patna outlet serves as the first step in the brand’s broader retail transformation strategy, aimed at enhancing customer experience and strengthening its presence across key markets in India.
