A London-based technology company, Nothing, announced that co-founder Akis Evangelidis was appointed President of India. In this role, he will supervise the company’s India expansion and strategy.
India has shaped Nothing’s growth. Nothing became the fastest-growing Indian smartphone brand in 2024 with +577% year-over-year growth (Source: Counterpoint Q4 2024 India Smartphone Tracker). Demand for the Phone (2a) Series and CMF by Nothing propelled this momentum. Akis’s increased prominence shows India’s importance to Nothing’s business plan. He leads the company’s next growth phase.

Nothing just announced that the upcoming Phone (3a) Series, which will launch on March 4 at 3:30 PM IST, will be made in Chennai, confirming its commitment to India.
