Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils has launched ‘Freedom Dil Ki Baat’, a campaign featuring former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid that puts cholesterol and heart health in focus. Using a conversation-led narrative, it encourages families to look after their parents’ heart health and consider simple changes to everyday cooking habits.
The campaign draws attention to bad cholesterol, which can build up in the arteries without obvious symptoms. It also highlights Freedom Rice Bran Oil, which contains 10,000+ PPM Natural Oryzanol, an antioxidant. Its central message is that changing the cooking oil is easier than replacing the heart of a loved one. Consumers are also encouraged to pair mindful cooking with a balanced diet and regular exercise.
P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, senior vice-president of sales and marketing, Gemini Edibles & Fats India, said heart health deserves every family’s attention, especially as high cholesterol can go unnoticed. He added that Dravid’s association helps carry the message to households in an engaging way.
Chetan Pimpalkhute, head marketing, Gemini Edibles & Fats India, noted that parents often resist changing the oil in their kitchen. The campaign appeals to them to make the switch, as the change can quietly support heart health. The campaign will run across television, digital and social media.
