Publicis Groupe Strengthens AI Capabilities with Acquisition of Lotame

Publicis Groupe has announced an agreement to acquire Lotame, a leading independent identity solution provider, as part of its evolving AI strategy. The acquisition is expected to close early in the second quarter of 2025, pending customary conditions.

Lotame, a global leader in data and identity technology, operates one of the world’s largest end-to-end data marketplaces across 109 countries. Its proprietary identity solution delivers addressable audiences built on over 100 data sources and activated through more than 1.6 billion IDs, serving over 4,000 global brands and publishers.

The strategic acquisition will combine Lotame’s assets with Publicis Groupe’s existing 2.3 billion global profiles, enabling clients to reach 91% of adult internet users with personalized messaging. Lotame will be integrated into Epsilon, making its capabilities accessible to all Publicis clients and teams.
