Flipkart has launched its first-ever Gudi Padwa campaign, conceptualized and executed by Wit & Chai Group, highlighting the evolution of festive shopping across three decades while positioning the platform as Maharashtra’s premier festival shopping destination.

The nostalgic brand film takes viewers on a journey through the 1970s, 2000s, and 2025, illustrating how shopping habits have transformed while the festive rush remains a constant in Maharashtrian households. The narrative skillfully blends authentic Marathi traditions with rhythmic folk-style storytelling in a relatable family setting.

“We wanted to create something that feels truly Maharashtrian—something that only Flipkart could own,” said Suyash Lahoti, partner at Wit & Chai Group. “The campaign is distinct, memorable, and deeply rooted in the way Maharashtra celebrates festivals.”
