Federal Bank has appointed Virat Sunil Diwanji as National Head – Consumer Banking and Senior Management Personnel, effective April 10, 2025. With over 30 years of experience in consumer banking, Diwanji previously served as Group President and Head of Consumer Bank at Kotak Mahindra Bank, and has held roles at Ford Credit and A F Ferguson & Co. He also serves on multiple company boards and holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. His appointment is expected to strengthen Federal Bank’s expansion into new markets and business segments.
