Edelman has announced significant leadership changes across its India operations, reinforcing its commitment to growth and integration. These promotions mark a strategic shift in how the global communications firm is positioning itself for its next phase of expansion in the region.
Ashutosh Munshi, a 22-year Edelman veteran, has been appointed Lead Advisor, Integrated Communications. Formerly the Lead for Brand Marketing and Communications, Munshi will now oversee the convergence of practices, sectors, and solutions to deliver cohesive, integrated marketing services to clients.
Karishma Gupte has been promoted to India Brand Lead and Head of the Delhi office. Over her seven-year tenure, Gupte has led award-winning campaigns and significantly expanded Edelman’s Food & Beverage portfolio. She now takes on broader responsibilities across brand strategy and office leadership.
Vasudevan Rangarajan, previously SVP of Public and Government Affairs (P&GA), steps into the role of Managing Director, P&GA. With over 13 years at Edelman, Rangarajan has built a formidable policy advisory team and guided strategic stakeholder engagement across industries.
Pankaj Suri, who has led Edelman India’s People Team for over 13 years, will relocate to Dubai as EVP, People Partner for the Middle East. Ashutosh Thatte, a nine-year Edelman veteran, will succeed Suri as VP, People Partner in India, effective June 1, 2025.
