Paytm has appointed Ramana Kumar as CEO for its Middle East operations. With over 20 years of experience in fintech, payments, and banking, Kumar previously served as founding CEO of UAE-based Magnati and held senior roles at First Abu Dhabi Bank and the National Bank of Abu Dhabi. Known for driving innovation and scalable payment solutions, he will lead Paytm’s expansion across the region, focusing on tailored digital payment offerings. Vijay Shekhar Sharma welcomed him, highlighting his regional expertise, while Kumar expressed enthusiasm about bringing Paytm’s proven technology to the rapidly growing Middle Eastern market.
