Adobe has announced that CEO Shantanu Narayen will step down from his role after 18 years, once a successor is appointed. Narayen, who has been with the company for nearly three decades, will continue as Chair of the Board to support the transition. The board has formed a special committee led by Lead Independent Director Frank Calderoni to identify the next CEO. During Narayen’s tenure, Adobe grew from a company with around 3,000 employees and less than $1 billion in revenue to more than 30,000 employees and over $25 billion in revenue, positioning itself strongly for the AI-driven era.
