Agoda Rolls Out Star-Studded ‘Amazing Hotel Prices’ Campaign Ahead of Peak Travel Season

Agoda has launched a new digital campaign titled “Amazing Hotel Prices,” featuring Sunil Grover, Ekta Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Varun Sharma. The multi-celebrity rollout underscores the growing demand for value-focused hotel bookings, especially as India enters its high travel season.

The campaign consists of a series of lighthearted short films where each celebrity reacts to unexpectedly low hotel prices found on the platform. Using humour and relatable travel planning moments, the films highlight the emotional thrill of securing a good deal. The campaign has debuted across digital and social platforms and was developed in collaboration with Collective Artists Network.

Speaking about the initiative, Gaurav Malik, Country Director for the Indian Subcontinent and Indian Ocean Islands at Agoda, said the campaign taps into a core insight: hotel pricing plays a decisive role in travel decisions. He added that the diverse cast helps the brand connect with a wider audience in an entertaining and authentic tone.

Sudeep Subash, Co-founder & CRO at Collective Artists Network and CEO of Big Bang Social, said the campaign aims to go beyond promotional messaging by capturing real, memorable travel emotions – especially the joy of finding an excellent deal.

In its initial phase, the campaign has already generated nearly 100 million impressions across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and the celebrities’ social channels. Agoda notes that this initiative aligns with its broader strategy to strengthen value-driven domestic accommodation choices for Indian travellers.
