Air India has launched a powerful new campaign titled ‘There is an Air About India’, celebrating the vibrant, confident, and ever-evolving spirit of a new India. The campaign serves as a tribute to the nation’s bold identity and its rising global presence—an energy that Air India proudly carries across the world.
Developed in partnership with McCann, the campaign spans out-of-home (OOH), print, and a visually rich digital filmthat stands at the heart of the initiative. The film features a rap-style soundtrack composed by acclaimed music director Sneha Khanwalkar, with vocals by rising rap artist Aarya Jadhao.
Through dynamic storytelling and striking visuals, the film captures the diverse heartbeat of India—from the pulse of modern cities to the charm of its rural landscapes. Each scene interlaces the country’s cultures, colours, cuisines, and communities, creating a mosaic of identity, ambition, and pride.
The narrative crescendos into the powerful line:
“There is an Air about India” – a sentiment Air India carries with pride on its global journey.
This campaign aligns with Air India’s ongoing transformation under Vihaan.AI, a five-year strategic roadmap launched after its return to the Tata Group in 2022. The initiative aims to position Air India as a world-class airline that reflects the aspirations of a new, resurgent India.
