American Eagle’s denim storytelling has travelled seamlessly from the pun-driven Sydney Sweeney Has Great Genes Jeans in the US to Great Jeans For Everyone in India. Its latest India campaign, led by Ananya Panday and Lakshya, returns to the fundamentals of classic denim advertising – effortless fits, feel-good wear, and personalities that naturally shine through.

Developed by Vayner Media and directed by Collin D’Cunha with photography by Sasha Jairam, the 53-second film is set in a clean, minimal studio space. Panday and Lakshya introduce themselves, share snippets of what they enjoy, and slip into a playful, side-by-side rhythm. A small moment – Panday lightly nudging Lakshya into position – creates the impression of two stylish friends with genuine, easy chemistry.
The wardrobe keeps the focus on American Eagle’s signature silhouettes: Panday wears the Ex-Boyfriend Fit and Baggy Wide Leg, while Lakshya sports men’s favourites including the Original Bootcut and Baggy Loose.
