ASICS marked 17 years of its association with the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) with the launch of its latest performance running shoe, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 28, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to India’s growing sports and wellness ecosystem. The unveiling took place at the ASICS store on Linking Road, Mumbai, in the presence of actor, entrepreneur and fitness advocate Dino Morea. As the Sports Goods Partner for TMM 2026, the brand continues to deepen its connection with India’s running community.
Positioned as the hero silhouette for TMM 2026, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 28 is designed for neutral runners seeking exceptional comfort and cushioning. The newest edition offers over 20 grams of weight reduction compared to its predecessor, delivering a lighter, smoother ride while retaining its signature cloud-like feel that supports both physical performance and mental focus.
Alongside the footwear, ASICS also introduced limited-edition Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 merchandise. The SM Graphic T-Shirt draws inspiration from Mumbai’s evolving Coastal Road, symbolising progress, connection and forward movement.
