India’s rapidly evolving automotive ecosystem-shaped by electrification, innovation-led design, and global ambition-took centre stage at the Auto9 Awards 2025, organised by the TV9 Network. Held at the Buddh International Circuit on January 18, 2026, the awards recognised the most impactful cars, two-wheelers, manufacturers, and industry initiatives of the year.
A distinguished jury comprising industry veterans, mobility experts, and senior leaders undertook a rigorous evaluation process, assessing entries across key parameters such as design, performance, innovation, safety, sustainability, value, and consumer relevance. The awards reflected the shifting priorities of Indian consumers and the industry’s future-facing outlook.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Guest Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, highlighted the automobile sector’s role as a key growth engine for the Indian economy, citing its contribution to GST revenues and exports. Barun Das, MD & CEO, TV9 Network, noted that the Auto9 Awards go beyond recognising products, instead capturing India’s mobility journey at a crucial inflection point.
Among the top honours, the Mahindra XEV 9E was crowned Car of the Year, underscoring the growing momentum of electric mobility. The TVS Apache RTX 300 won Bike of the Year, reinforcing TVS Motor’s leadership in performance-driven engineering. Mahindra & Mahindra was named Manufacturer of the Year for its sustained innovation across segments, while industry veteran Santosh Iyer received the Automotive Personality of the Year award for his enduring contribution to India’s automotive landscape.
With categories spanning four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and mobility excellence, Auto9 Awards 2025 celebrated progress, innovation, and leadership across the full spectrum of Indian mobility.
