Bastian Hospitality Group has announced the launch of Bastian Riviera, its most ambitious project to date and the brand’s first large-scale hospitality destination. Spread across 1.5 acres along the Morjim backwaters in Goa, the new property expands the brand’s identity beyond restaurants into a complete lifestyle and luxury hospitality experience. The unveiling is supported by a cinematic brand film titled À Beira da Riviera-Portuguese for “by the river”-which reflects the tone, story and spirit of the destination.
Bastian Riviera has been designed to reimagine the Goan leisure experience for modern, global travellers. Rather than relying on traditional coastal themes, the property takes a more elevated and international approach. It features a striking pyramid-shaped architectural centrepiece, expansive decks with private cabanas, circular sunbeds, water-led courtyards, and a large open-air bar overlooking the backwaters. The design draws influence from iconic global locations including Mykonos, Dubai and Egypt, presenting a layered, immersive experience.
The culinary curation builds on Bastian’s strengths, with a focus on premium seafood and flavours inspired by Goa. The cultural and nightlife programme includes performances from globally acclaimed artists such as Bedouin and Jimmy Jules.
Founder and CEO Ranjit Brinda shared that the project reflects both his personal connection to Goa and the brand’s long-term commitment to shaping premium tourism experiences in India. He confirmed that the next development phase will introduce a full spa and wellness offering, positioning Bastian Riviera as a flagship destination under the growing Bastian Hospitality ecosystem.
