Canva Unveils Second Edition of ‘Dil Se, Design Tak’ Campaign in IndiaThe platform continues its collaboration with OML Entertainment, introducing new narratives, regional versions, and AI-powered storytelling.

Canva, the visual communication platform, has launched the second edition of its flagship brand campaign in India, ‘Dil Se, Design Tak’. Continuing its mission to democratise design, the refreshed campaign features relatable, emotion-led stories and accessible tools that empower creativity at every level.

Building on the success of its first edition, the campaign returns with two new films. These narratives explore how design bridges emotional and generational gaps-both in families and at work. From living rooms to boardrooms, Canva reinforces its message that anyone, anywhere, can design with ease.

“Design today is more than visuals—it’s how people express themselves, connect with others, and bring their ideas to life,” said Chandrika Deb, Country Lead – India, Canva. “With the new edition of ‘Dil Se, Design Tak’, we’re spotlighting real, heartfelt moments that showcase creativity in everyday life. Whether you’re a teacher, a freelancer, or a business owner, Canva speaks your language-literally and creatively.”

The first film introduces Jaadu Dadu, played by Dalip Tahil, a magician trying to impress his family. His granddaughter Drishti and her dog Chico enjoy his tricks, but his daughter Aaliya (played by Saloni Batra) longs for deeper emotional connection. When Drishti uses Canva to create a heartfelt poster, it becomes a catalyst for reconnection—proving that simple design can spark real change.

The second film, to be released in the coming weeks, sees Aaliya in a new role-a millennial manager navigating workplace dynamics with Sia, a Gen Z team member full of bold, unconventional ideas. The film humorously explores generational differences and how Canva becomes the bridge, enabling shared creativity and effective collaboration.

Canva continues its partnership with OML Entertainment to develop the new campaign. Expanding its reach, the initiative features Tamil and Telugu versions with regional actors, along with dubs in Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali to connect with India’s diverse audience.

Highlighting Canva’s latest product updates, the films integrate tools from Visual Suite 2.0, such as Canva AI, Magic Design, Magic Media, and Photo Background Remover-demonstrating their use in both personal and professional settings.

The campaign is being promoted through TV, cinemas, and digital platforms including YouTube, Meta, Snapchat, and Spotify. It also includes regional activations, creator partnerships, and local events to foster community-led creativity across India.
