CashKaro ups satire with new #CoinsVSCashback ad: ‘GoatSwami’

CashKaro has launched its latest spot under the #CoinsVSCashback campaign-“GoatSwami”, a humorous take on Indian primetime debate shows. Set in a chaotic newsroom, the spoof mocks loud anchors and over-the-top panelists while spotlighting the real value of cashback over coin-based rewards.


A goat on prime time?

In the film, a goat-dubbed GoatSwami-claims to offer the best cashback on a live debate show. When challenged by a news anchor to prove the value of his coin rewards, GoatSwami fails to justify their usefulness. The segment ends with the anchor concluding that only direct cashback-transferred to a user’s bank account-has real worth, reinforcing CashKaro’s value proposition.

The ad wraps up with the brand’s signature message:
“Direct Online Shopping ki Aadat Badlo. Pehle CashKaro, Phir ShopKaro.”


Continuing a bold campaign

GoatSwami joins a series of high-concept ads under the #CoinsVSCashback campaign, including:

  • Ghibli-style animation
  • Latent-inspired narrative
  • The GOAT series
  • And a Roadies-style spoof titled GOATies

Each ad critiques coin-based rewards for being confusing, conditional, or low in real value—unlike CashKaro’s direct cashback, which users can transfer to their bank accounts.
