Chennaiyin FC has signed electric vehicle manufacturer Simple Energy as its Official Mobility Partner for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2026 season.
Under the agreement, Simple Energy’s logo will feature on the back of the team’s matchday and training shorts. The brand will also gain visibility through LED perimeter boards and select in-stadium branding during home games at the Marina Arena.
Beyond on-ground presence, the partnership extends to digital promotions across Chennaiyin FC’s official platforms. The deal includes access to select club assets and opportunities for player-led engagements, enabling deeper fan interaction.
Akhil Prakash, COO, Chennaiyin FC, said the collaboration aligns with the club’s focus on innovation and responsibility. He noted that partnering with a future-forward Indian EV brand strengthens the club’s sustainability narrative while helping connect with young, urban audiences across Tamil Nadu.
Simple Energy entered the Chennai market in 2025 and currently operates 15 stores across the state. The company manufactures electric scooters, including the Simple One and Simple OneS.

The partnership will run throughout the ISL 2026 season, with integrated visibility across matchdays and digital platforms.
