Cipla has appointed Achin Gupta as Managing Director and Global CEO (Designate), effective April 1, 2026, marking a key leadership transition for the pharma major. Currently serving as Global Chief Operating Officer, Gupta brings over two decades of industry experience and will focus on expanding market reach, strengthening operational performance, and driving innovation across the company’s treatment portfolio. Prior to Cipla, he held leadership roles at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Abbott Laboratories, and A.T. Kearney.
