CNBC-TV18 successfully concluded the second edition of its Global Leadership Summit on November 7 in Mumbai, convening influential voices from policy, business, finance, technology, and culture. Held under the banner The India Advantage, the summit explored how economic reforms, technological disruption, capital flows, and shifting geopolitical dynamics are shaping India’s next phase of growth.
Opening the event, CNBC-TV18’s managing editor Shereen Bhan highlighted the significance of the moment. “This summit marks CNBC-TV18’s 26th anniversary as India’s most trusted and influential business news brand. SEBI chairperson Tuhin Kanta Pandey delivered the keynote address, emphasising India’s “remarkable growth and resilience.” He reiterated that capital markets are central to the vision of Viksit Bharat and stressed the importance of transparent, investor-focused policymaking.
Throughout the day, the summit hosted high-powered panels featuring leaders from financial markets, global consulting, technology, space, startups, infrastructure, and real estate. Speakers such as Ridham Desai, Sankaran Naren, Neelkanth Mishra, Oliver Jay of OpenAI, ISRO’s Dr. V. Narayanan, Bain’s Christophe De Vusser, and Chief Economic Advisor Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran shared insights on India’s rapidly evolving economic landscape.
Discussions spanned India’s growth trajectory, AI policy, digital innovation, and infrastructure transformation. From reflections on India’s macroeconomic momentum to the expanding role of Global Capability Centres and the potential of AI-led inclusion, leaders repeatedly underscored India’s unique position in an uncertain global environment.

CEO Ryan McInerney, followed by a closing reception.
